Pierre Chapo B19 E Desk, signed and dated 1975
Modular Desk designed by Pierre Chapo. France, Chapo, 1975.
Desk, hand crafted from solid Elm consisting of a unit of seven drawers and a table top, loosely positioned on the drawer. The Elm wood finnish has a silky surface. The adjustable desk consists of two modules (desk with B19 T mobile top and R19 A chest of drawers).
The desktop's length can be extended and rotated within a range of 90° to 360°, depending on its distance from the wall. One side rests on the drawers, while the other is supported by a pillar at its end. The design allows for multiple configurations, including positioning the drawers on the left, adjusting the angle, or extending the tabletop freely.
