Rosewood Lounge Chair by Ray & Charles EAMES, 1960s

Original lounge chair (Model 670) designed by Ray and Charles Eames. Italy, ICF (Herman Miller), 1960's.

Very early production lounge chair produced under licence from Herman Miller. Plywood shell in rosewood with cognac coloured leather which has recently been restored and re-coloured. Cushions filled with down, base in die-cast aluminium. Seat height 40 cm. Rare in this edition.

Based in Milan, ICF were one of four original manufacturers who were given the licence by Herman Miller Inc. to build the Charles and Ray Eames designed lounge chairs. This cooperation ended in 1979.

Condition:  

Very early production, very good overall condition, several small faults to the rosewood shell. Leather has had recent professional reconditioning work done.
