REF. 0616    |    € 2800.00

Chandelier designed by Angelo Mangiarotti. Italy, Vetreria Vistosi, 1967.

Large chandelier with plenty of handblown 'GIOGALI' glass pieces. Manufactured on Murano Island near Venice.  Silber coloured metal frame with one E27 light socket. The electrics and cables have been updated.

Angelo Mangiarotti (1921–2012) was an Italian architect, designer, and sculptor celebrated for uniting structural logic with elegant form. His chandeliers, especially the Giogali series for Vistosi, use interlocking glass or crystal links to create luminous, cascading compositions that can be configured in many shapes. These modular, metal-free structures reflect his interest in plug-in systems, gravity, and expressive use of glass.
