Fully leather covered lounge chair by Citterio with two loose feather filled cushions, upholstered in new cream coloured linen. The leather has a light brown/ rusty orange colour and is blind-stamped 'B&B Italia' on both arms. The construction is made of metal with cushion straps. This chair is unbelievably comfortable!
Antonio Citterio, born in Meda, Italy in 1950, is a leading figure in contemporary Italian design, renowned as both an architect and furniture designer. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and opened his own studio in 1972, quickly making his mark with innovative and timeless designs. Citterio’s work is characterized by elegant forms, functionalism, and a refined aesthetic, collaborating with major brands like B&B Italia, Kartell, and Vitra. He has received prestigious awards, including multiple Compasso d’Oro prizes, and his influence spans architecture, interiors, and product design, shaping the landscape of modern design worldwide.
