Two-door cabinet with two drawers, fully mirrored, glass shelves and inside illumination. The cabinet is covered in coloured and lacquered parchment with brass detailing. The original key is also available. Original Aldo Tura label on the back. Fantastic design, produced in the workshop of Aldo Tura. Rare rare rare in this colour!
Aldo Tura, known for his craftsmanship of the highest order designing and producing outstanding and elaborate pieces.
In 1939, Tura opened his workshop in Milan having been involved in the manufacturing of furniture and lighting since the early 1930s. His designs mix elements of art deco with minimalist lines and antique decoration, using lacquered parchment on all of his designs. Tura remained faithful to his metier as a manufacturer of high-quality furniture and accessories until his death in 1963.
