Early original FK87 chaise longue produced by Alfred Kill (Kill International) and designed by the design duo Preban Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm. Matted chrome-plated metal base with a coarse linen cover and loose black leather cushions and separate head rest. Cognac coloured leather armrests. Super amazing with beautiful patina. Fantastically comfortable indeed!
During its heyday, Kill International was one of Germany's most important furniture manufacturers, influencing an entire future generation of architects and furniture designers. The circumstances of the company's eventual closing are unknown, but the surviving work has become highly collectible.
Excellent vintage condition.
